Specialist Doctors are wanted for a University Affiliated Hospital in (Somaliland), Northern Somalia -Al-Hayatt Hospital is affiliated to Amoud University in Borama .

 

Positions are for 6 months, extendable up to 1 year. The positions available are:

Consultant General Surgeon,

Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon

Consultant Anesthetist.

 

Consultants must have completed medical education at a WHO approved medical school, completed internship and postgraduate training in the respective specialty with a recognized postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCS, FRCS (Orth), FRCA or local or regional equivalent) with an unrestricted medical license in their area of practice.

  Salary will competitive, travel and housing will be provided. Borama is a very peaceful and friendly Muslim community and international travel to the area is relatively easy. Unlike much of the country it is green and fertile and communication facilities (cell phone, Internet) are cheap & readily available.
